RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to accept for and on
behalf of the City of Lubbock one (1) Street Dedication Deed in connection with certain real
property located in the Southeast '/4 of Section 6, Block A, Lubbock County, Texas, to be
utilized for the Erskine Street Roadway Project, and all related documents. Said Deeds are
attached hereto and incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth herein and shall be
included in the minutes of the Council.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
I'j THAT FRONTIER LAND & CATTLE CO. LLC, herein called "GR.ANTOR", for and
� in consideration of the sum of TEN AND NA.'100 ($t0.00) DOLLARS and other good and
valuable consideration, to him/her in hand paid by the C1TY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, a Home
Rulc Municipal Corporation, does hereby dedicate to the pubtic for public use forever and for
street right-of-way purposes, the following described tract of land situated in Lubbock County,
Texas, as more particularly described in the attached Exhibit "A".
T4 HAVE AND TO HOLD this above described premises, together with all and singular
the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging unto the said public forever so long as
said premises are used for public street purposes.

A 0.414-acre tract of land in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 6, Block A, Tyler Tap RR. Co. Survey, Abstract No. 1216, Lubbock
County, Texas, being a portion of that certain 158.828-acre tract described in County Clerk File Number 2021034659 of the
Official Public Records of Lubbock County, Texas; said 0.414-acre tract being more particularly described as follows and as
surveyed on-the-ground under the supervision of Parkhill on July 27, 2022:
BEGINNING at a 1/2-inch iron rod set in Erskine Avenue in the south line of said Section 6, for a corner of said 158.828-acre
tract, the southwest corner of that certain 0.067-acre tract surveyed this same day by Parkhill, being a portion of that certain
160-acre tract described in Volume 42, Page 437 of the Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas, and the southeast corner
hereof, and from which a 1.5-inch iron pipe found at the southeast corner of said Section 6 bears South 88 degrees 29
minutes 28 seconds East a distance of 260.12 feet, said beginning point having coordinates of NORTHING: 7283255.84 and
EASTING: 968616.34, Texas State Plane Coordinate System, North Central Zone 4202, North American Datum of 1983;
(1) THENCE North 88 degrees 29 minutes 28 seconds West a distance of 899.00 feet along the south line of said Section 6 and
the south line of said 158.828-acre tract to a bent 1/2 inch iron rod found in said Erskine Avenue at a corner of said 158.828-
acre tract, the southeast comer of that certain tract described in County Clerk File Number 2016009920 of said Official Public
Records, and the southeast corner of that certain 0.072-acre tract surveyed this same day by Parkhill, being a portion of said
tract described in County Clerk File Number 2016009920, for the southwest corner hereof, and from which a"MAG" nail found
at the southwest corner of said Section 6 bears North 88 degrees 29 minutes 28 seconds West a distance of 4115.63 feet;
(2) THENCE North 01 degrees 30 minutes 32 seconds East a distance of 20.15 feet crossing said 158.828-acre tract along the
east line of said tract described in County Clerk File Number 2016009920 and the east line of said 0.072-acre tract to a 1/2-inch
iron rod found at the northeast corner of said 0.072-acre tract, for the northwest corner hereof;
(3) THENCE South 88 degrees 28 minutes 56 seconds East a distance of 898.90 feet crossing said 158.828-acre tract to a 4-
inch pipe brace post filled with concrete found in the east line of said 158.828-acre tract, at the southwest corner of that certain
tract described in Volume 8856, Page 112 of said Official Public Records and the northwest corner of said 0.067-acre tract, for
the northeast corner hereof;
(4) THENCE South 01 degrees 13 minutes 10 seconds West a distance of 20.01 feet along the west line of said 0.067-acre tract
and the east line of said 158.828-acre tract to the POINT OF BEGINNING containing 0.414-acres of land, more or less, and as
shown on certified plat herewith.
Note: Bearings and coordinates shown hereon are based on the Texas State Plane Coordinate System, North Central Zone
4202, No�th American Datum of 1983. Distances reported hereon are at surface. Areas reported hereon are based on
calculations made from surface distances. A"1/2-inch iron rod seY' is a 1/2-inch rebar with a plastic cap marked "PSC RPLS
6453". This survey is subject to any facts which may be disclosed by a full and accurate title search. Record documents other

This project will fund the paving and improvement of existing local residential and collector gravel roads in existing subdivisions
where the roads were never improved by the developer. This project will fund the design and construction of various inadequate
transportation elements within these areas of the City including unimproved roadway surfaces, unsafe roadway widths, drainage
improvements, street lighting, and ADA compliance.
Project Justi�cation
Areas of the City of Lubbock have existing local residential roadways that are gravel and not improved with a paved surface. These
roadways were par[ of developments where the roads were never improved by the developer. These roadways do not meet the City's
Standard Specifications and this project will help improve mobility and safery in these residential areas.
