IT IS FORTHlR ORDAINED 13Y THE CITY OF UIBBOCK, TEXAS, that to pay the inteJ"est on said bonds a.nd create a sinking fund with which to pay the principal. as it matures, there shall be and it is hereby ordained that there be levied, assessed a.nd collected in due time, form and manner and at the same time other taxes are levied, assessed and collected in each year in said City, a sufficient tax upon all the taxable property in said City of Lubbock to pay the current interest on said bonds and to pay the principal thereof as the same matures; and to pay the interest on said bonds a.nd one year's pro rata of the principal thereof, there is hereby levied a tax of thirty six and one b&lf cents {36½¢) on the $100.00 valuation of all taxable property in said City for the year 1927 and for each 8\lCCeeding year while said bonds or aey of them a.re outstanding, and same shall be assessed and collected, or so mu.ch thereof as may be necessary for said purpose, and applied to the purpose named.
