AN ORDINANCE REGULo\TlNG '!EHICULAR 'l'RAFFIC OF THE KIND AND CHARACTER AS UEFTI~D BY THE SAID ORDINANCE AND PR ESCRIBING PAm{ING OF CARS AND DEFINING THE SAME AND PROVIDING A METHOD OF PARKING IN PRESCRIBED AREAS AlTD CONTROL THF TR o\FFIC AT CERTAil~ DESIGNATED CORNER AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE WITH ALL OTI:<'R TRAFFIC ORDINANCES EXCEP'l' WHERE IN DinECT CONFLICT WITH 'fHE PROV 'ISIONS tfF REOF; AND FURTHER PROVIDES THA..T ALL ORDINANCES OR POR1'I;)NS THEREOF IN CONFLICT '1/ITH '1'HE PROVISIONS HEREOF SHALL BE DEEMED RE P F.:AI.ED IN SO FAR AS SUCH CONFLICT EXISTSJ AND P ROVIDING THAT THE HOLDING OF ANY PORTION HEREOF TO BE INVALID SHALL NOT AFFECT THE VALIDITY OF ANY OTHER PORTION OR PROVISION; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY FOR SAME. No left hand or U turns allowed at the following inter· secti-Jne 11 to-'~i t: Intersection of Ave G and :Uain Streeto Ave., G and Broadwayo Aveo I and Main Sto 9 Ave I and ~roadway Street, Aveo J and Main Sto~ Aveo J and Broadwayo Section 5o No vehicle shall pass another vehicle going the same direction on street intersectionso Section 6o Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor ~nd upon con~ viction thereof ehall be punished by a fine of not exceeding ~lOOoOOo Section 7. '!'his Ordinance is hereby declared to be cumulative of all other Ordinances regulating traffic upon the streets of the City of Lubbock 6xcept where the same are in conflict with the provisions of this OrdinRnceo Section a. All Ordinances in-so-far as the same or portions of the same shall be in conflict ~ith this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflieto Section 9o be declared decision or of sections and effect:- Should any secti~n or part of section of this Ordinance to be invalid by any court of competent juriadic~ion such judgement shall not .effect the remaining portions or parts of this ordinance which shall continue to be in full force Passed first reading this the 28th day of May 0 l92~o Passed final re~ding this the 16th day of Junep 1925o ------·~F~·~R~..
