ORDINANCE NO. 266
AN ORDINANCE to prohibit the running at large of domestic
fowls in the City of Lubbock, providing that the owner of
person in charge of such fowls or causing same to run at
large,or person permitting same to run at large, shall be
punished~ fine, and fixing the penalty, and repealing
all la-w ~d parts of laws in conflict herewith.
Be it ordained by the City Commission of the City of Lubbock,
Texas:
Section. 1. From and after the taking effect of this ordinance,
it shall be unlawful for the owner or person in charge of any
domestic fowls to permit the same to run at large within this
City.
Section 2. No person shall release or cause to run at large any
domestic fowls within the corporate limits of the City of
Lubbock.
Section 3. Any person violating any provision of this ordinance
shall be punished ~ fine of not less than Sl.OO, or more than
$25.00.
Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are expressly repealed.
The foregoing ordinance was read at two regular meetings of the
City Commission, and passed by regular vote and is approved
this the 23rd day of October, 1924.
