BE IT ORDATim&D: by the City Council of the City of Lubbock,
Texas:
Section 1. That the Pecos and North ern Te xa s Railvmy
Comp a ny, a corporation, and its Lessefjl, the Panhandle and
Santa Fe Railway Company, and its successors and assigns,
be and it is hereby given the right, power and privilege of
locating, building, erecting , constructing and properly
maintainin~ an industrial truck, with the necessary turn-
out s , switch sta nds, and other necessary applianc e s connected
therewith, across and upon the street s and avenue s and city
pro p erty 'I..Vithin the corpora te limits of the· City of Lubbock,
Texas, desig nated as follows:
On and over the West twenty feet (20') of Avenue
F, from the north line of 9th Street to the North line of
the alley running East and West in Block No. 106 of the
Ori g i~l Town of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Te x as.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall become effective
from and after its passage and ·publication.
PASSED AND ADOPTED, this _day of August, A.D.l924.

That we, R. P. Bayless and L. H. Hungate, of
the County of Lu l bock and State of Texas, for and in
consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars (~~lo.oo) to us
in hand paid by the City of Lubboclc, Texas, the r eceipt
of which is hereby acknowledged, and other consider-
ations, have granted, sold and conveyed, and by these
presents do grant, sell and convey unto the said City
of Lubboc~, Texas, all that certain real estate situ-
ated in the Original Tovm of Lubbock, in Lubbock County,
Te~as, described as follows:
The West twenty feet (20') in Lots Nos. 11,
12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 in Block No. 90.
P rovided, however, that should the land hereby
conveyed not be used for a public street or alley, or
should said land be so used and later auch use discon-
tinued, the saz:1e shall revert to the Grantors herein, r h irs or lega r.:!':':ZJ ... ~~ .
