An election to be held at tl-1tz P~ ~ in the City of Lubbock, Texas, on the ~l4£day of 11~ 1923. at the regular hours, is h ereby called. whereat the duly qualified property taxpaying voters of this City may determine if Bonds of the City shall be issued in the amounts, terms and for the purpose:s here·afte·r named; Section 2. Such bonds s h all be for the purp•ose of en- larging and extendi~ the present electric lighti~ and power system of this City, in the amount of (,~OOQO O in denominations of $1 ,000.00 e ach, payable serially over a period not exceeding Forty years, s.hall bear in- ) ... : \} terest not to exceed.
