Texa s,. ~or the year 19231 subject to taxation, the sum of One Doll ~r and 25/100 on the one Hundred dollar valua ti on thereof, and same shall be applied to tbe va rious fUnds in the following manner. For Street Fund $.25 per $100.00 valuatio~ Section 2• All peraors residing within theCity of Lubbock• 7eXas on the first day of 3anu~r.r .. 1923• and not exempt b7 the general laws ot this State be\ween the agee of 21 yeara ~~d 60 yeare.shall pay . a poll tax o~ One Dollar. Section 3. All advalorem ~ee shall be p~ld before the first day o~ Februa ry 1924. Rnd taxes not paid by that date ehRll have to said tax added the sum otl~ penalt7, and bear interest from said date at eix per cent and thereafter such tees and costs shall be added as provided for st ~te and county taxes.
