Be it Ordained by the City Council (Commission)
of the City of Lub b ock. ~exas,
Section 1.
No ~erson shall own or operate apy store cks oi any pub ic school building in, th~s ~ o .../-~~~~~~
Any person convicted of violating Section
1 hereof. may be pun1shed by fine not exceeding two hundred
dollars. and may. with or Wlthout conviction. oe enjoined
from so operating such business.
Section 3.
The fact that the operation of stores near
public school buildi~ is a great aetriment to the order and peace of the schools creates an emergency and necessity
that the rule of the Charter requiriQg ordinances to be
read at two several meeti~s be suspended and this ordinance
enact~d at th~ me~ti~ of 1ts introauction and be effective upon ~ts publ1cat1on.
