All persons residi~ within the City of Lubbock on the. first d~ of Janua:ty 1922. and not exempt by the g~neral laws of this state, ~etween the ~es of 21 years and 60 years, shall pay a poll tax of One dollar each. Section 3. All ad valorem taxes shall be paid before the Firat day of February 1923 and taxes not paid by_ ~hat date shall have to said tax adAed the sum of 10% penlily, and bear interest from said date at six per cent. And thereafter such fees and costs shall be added as provided for state and county taxes. Section 4. There is alevied upon all occupations taxable, one-half the sum charged by the state of Texas for pursuiDg such occupation. . Section 5.
