AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE OWNERS OF PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS,
TO BURY OR OTHERWISE PROPERLY DISPOSE OF ALL CARCASSES OF DEAD FOWLS, CATS, ETC.
DYING OR BEING ON THEIR PREMISES.
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Lubbock, Texas:
Article 1. That the owner of owners of any premises within the Corporate
Limits of the City of Lubbock, Texas, be and they are hereby required to buly,
burn, or haul to the City's Dumping Ground the carcasses of all dead fowls, cats,
and other small animals dying or being upon their said premises, not allowing the
same to become offensive or putrid, thereby endangering the health or comfort of
the inhabitants of this City.
Article 2. That any person violating Article 1 of this Ordinance shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum
not less than Five Dollars ($S.00) nor more than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00).
Article 9. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and publication as required by Law.
