operate, and maintain an electric light and per' plant in the City of Lubbock, Texaa.

ud they are hereby granted the right to construct and operate and maintain over and along,

Texaa, in accordance with all reasonable Ordinances of the CLV of Lubbock uew in forte and
hereafter to be passed by the City Commil of said City, an elsataric light and power pleat.
Section 2. The plant shall be ego constructed as to not interfere with the free use
by the public of the streAs and alleys and public brighways, Any da=ge done to the streete,
allege, and public highways shall be preparly repaired by the said lubbock Light & Ice
Company or at its expense.

period of fifty years. The said Lubbock Light & Ice Company for its self and assigns,
has consented, in consideration of said grant, to place a minim= charge of Daventeen
(17) cents per lcilo►aatthour, and to furnish as all-night service for the benefit of its
patrons.
Section 4. The said Lubbock Light & Ice Company agreee in comideration of trbls
franchise and extension of franchise, to furnish said all-night service and to abarg+e a
cdnimm of $1.30 per mouth to all consumers ueirg currents on a =ter basis.

under the supervision of said owner of said plant at such places as said owner may think
best$ but at the azpeaso of the City* of Lubbock, and the saws shall ba maintained by the
City at its expense.
