AN OBBINANCE requiring all premises in the City of Lubbock to be kept in sanitary condition and providing a penalty for violation of this ordinance. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:— 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person or persons to permit or have upon his premises any of the following unsanitary conditions, viz:—(1) animal manure in_ y quatlity, (2) prtties, vaults, w ces*pools or other like places which are not securely protected from flies, (3) garbage in-�quanity, of (4) crash or littler rags or anything in which flies may breed or multiply. 2. That it shall be the duty of the City Health Officer, City Marshall and Sanitary Committee to regularly inspect all premises in the City of Lubbock and upon finding any premises in an unsanitary condition, said officers or either of them shall notify the owner or occupant of said premises to remove and abate said unsanitary condition. 3. That any person or persons who shall violate the provisions of tkiaxzzmUx&zzz of Section One of this vrdinaaee and shad rail ZB or refuse to remove or abate the unsanitary condition of hid premises within days after being notified so to do by the City Health Officer, City Marshall or Sanitary Committee or etiher of them, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon convietion shall be fined In any sum not less than Five nor more than Fifty Dollars. 4.
