An Ordinance regulating the construction of awnings on
buildings -fronting on the following Streets, in the City of
Lubbock, Texas, viz: Broadway from Ash Street to Chestnut Street;
North First Street from Ash Street to Chestnut Street; Ceder
Street from South Second Street to North Second Street and
Singer Street from South Second Street to North Second Street,
and providing specifications therefore
BE IT -ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK0
TEXAS:
1. That all AWNINGS on buildings fronting on the
following Streets, in the city of Lubbock, viz: Broadway from
Ash Street to Chestnut Street; North First Street from Ash Street
to Chestnut Street; Cedar Street from South Second to North See —
and Street and Singer Street from South Second to North Second
Street, shall be ten (10) feet wide with s ope n of one quar r of
an inch to the foot and the top of the awning adjoining the build—
ing shall be ten.(10) feet,above the sidewalk grade line.

That this Ordinance shall take effect from and
after is passage.
Passed and approved this 12th day of February, A.D.1912.
