An Ordinance granting the Crosbyton Southplains Railroad Com- puny a franchise thru the City of Lubbock over e=tata and across certain streets and highways in said City of Lubbock. Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Lubbock, Texas:- 1. That the Crosbyton-Southplains Railroad Company be and hereby is granted an easement or right of way for its tracks over and across the following described streets and highways, in said City of Lub- bock, to -wit:- Beginning at a point on the east line of Mesquite Street where said street crosses the north boundary ling of town of Lubbock; thence West to the West limits of said Aalong a street, bearing no name, but which is immediately north and parallel to Seventh street in said town, said unnamed street being 75 feet wide; and crossin along said course, abutting streets, as follows; Rush Avenue, Galveston Street, Waco Street and Houston Street, and also an unnamed street just west and parallel to said Mesquite Street. 2. That said Railroad Company shall maintain good and sufficients crossings over and across its tracks on said streets according to the laws providing there€Dr 3. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage. Passed and approved the 13th day of February, A.D. 1912. Mayor.
