AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF AN AD VALOREM TAX
FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING A SINKING FUND TO REDEEM T11E BONDS OF THE
CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, IN THE SUM OF $55,0g0.00 ISSUED THE 27ZH
DAY OF APRIL, A.D. 1911 FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY
SEWERS IN AND FOR ME CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Lubbock, Texas:
Article 1. An Ad Valorem Tax of Seventeen (17) cents on the one hundred
dollar valuation of all real and personal property in the City of
Lubbock, Texas, not exempt from taxation by the Constitution and
Laws of the State of Texas, is hereby levied for the year 1912 for
the purpose of providing a sinking fund to redeem the bonds of the City
of Lubbock, Texas, in the sum of $55,000.00 issued the 27th day of
April, A. D. 1911, for the purpose of the construction of sanitary
sewers in and for the City of Lubbock, Texas, and shall be collected
as is provided by Law and the Ordinances of the City of Lubbock,
Passed and approved this the 8th day of January, A.D. 1912.
