AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR TBE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF AN AD VALOREM TAX FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF TBE ROADS, BRIDGES, AND STREETS OF TBE CITY OF
LUBBOCK, TEXAS, ON ALL PROPERTY WITBIN THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, NOT EXEMPT
FROM TAXATION BY THE CONSTITUTION AND LAMS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS, FOR TBE YEAR
1912.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Lubbock, Texas:
Section 1. An Ad Valorem Tax of fifteen (150) cents on the one hundred dollar
valuation of all real and personal property in the City of Lubbock, Lubbock
County, Texas, not exempt from taxation by the Constitution and Laws of the State
of Texas, is hereby levied for the year 1912 for the construction, and improvement
of the roads, bridges, and streets in the City of Lubbock, Texas, and shall be collectec
as is provided by Law and the Ordinances of the City of Lubbock,
Passed and approved this the 8th day of January, A. D. 1912.
