AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF AN AD VALOREM
TAX FOR CURRENT EXPENSES ON ALL PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS,
NOT EXEMPT FROM TAXATION BY THE CONSTITUTION AND LAWS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS,
FOR THE YEAR 1912.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS:
Article 1. An Ad Valorem Tax of twenty-five (25o%,) cents of the one
hundred dollars valuation of all real and personal property in the City
of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, not exempt from Taxation by the Consti-
tution and Laws of the State of Texas, is hereby levied for the year 1912
for current expenses and shall be collected as is provided by Law and the
Ordinances of the City of Lubbock.
Passed and approved this the 8th day of January, A.D. 1912.
