WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lubbock, Texas, has caused to be
prepared plands and specifications for the building and installation of a Water
Works System, and
WHEREAS, said plans were purposely left blank in the matter of a pumping
plant and,
WHEREAS, the said City Council Deems it advisable to have a committee in-
veatigate the matter more fully than is practible for the entire City Council
to do, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS,
that the Mayor F.E. Wheelock, and Alderman W.A. Bacon be and they are hereby
appointed as a comtbittee to arrange for the purchase and installation of a
pumping plant for the said City of Lubbock.
Passed and approved this the 14th day of August, A.D. 1911.
