HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance - 056-1911 - Prohibiting The Running At Large Of Animals Within The City Limits Of Lubbock - 06/12/1911ORDINANCE NO. 56 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE RUNNING AT LARGE OF ANIMALS WITHIN THE CITY LIKITS". BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: Article 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to stake, lariat, or otherwise secure any horse, cow, or other animal with a rope or by other means so that it may cross or get on any public street or alley within the City, thereby endangering those who may have occasion to travel on, along, or across the said public thoroughfare. Article 2. Any person found guilty of violating the provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not less than (Doe Dollar ($1.00) nor more than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.UU).
