AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AN ORDINANCE PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, ON THE 26TH DAY OF JULY$ 1910, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORI-
ZING THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF WATER WORKS IN
AND FOR THE CITY OF LUBBOCK AND PROVIDING FOR THE LEA AND COLLECTION OF A TALC
TO PAY THE INTEREST AND CREATE A SINKING FUND SUFFICIENT FOR THE REDEMPTION OF
SAID BONDS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK;
That an Ordinance here-tofore passed by this Council, on the 26th day of
July 1910, authorizing the issuance of Bonds for the purpose of constructing
and building City Water Works and providing for the levy and collection of a
tax sufficient to pay the and create a sinking fund for the redemption of said
Bonds and which Ordinance was by the Mayor of this City approved on the 25th
day of July 1910 be and the same is hereby in all things repealed.
Passed the 9th day of January 1911.

Then it was moved by Dr. Overton and seconded by Mr. Penney that the
above Ordinance be passed, the Vote being taken it appeared as follows:
Yeas: Overton, Penney, Parks, and McWhorter.
Nays: None
Thereupon, the Mayor declared the motion carried and the Ordinance adopted.
