HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance - 045-1911 - Levy And Collection Of An Ad Valorem Tax For Current Expenses. - 01/09/1911ORDINANCE No. 45 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF AN AD VALOREM TAX FOR CURRENT EXPENSES, ON ALL PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, NOT EXEMPT FROM TAXATION BY THE COMSTITUTION AND LAWS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS, FOR THE YEAR 1911. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. SECTIOM 1. An ad valorem tax of twenty-five cents on the one hundred dollar valuation of all real and personal property in the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, not exempt from taxation by the Constitution and Laws of the State of Texas, is hereby levied for the year 1911 for current expenses and shall be collected as is provided by Law and the Ordinances of the City of Lubbock.
