ORDINANCE NO. 43
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE DISCONTINUATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY AS
A PART OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEKAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEKAS:
Article 1. That inas much as the following property described by metes
and bounds as follows, to -wit:
BEGINNING at a point in the South Boundary Line of Survey No. 7, Certificate
307, Block B T.T., R.R. Co., Abstract No. 94, known and established as a corner
of the Corporate Limits of the City of Lubbock, Texas, the said point being
seven hundred and thirteen (713) vase east of the South -meat corner of said
survey No. 7.
THENCE North 950 varas with the line of said Corporate limits of the City of
Lubbock.
THE14CE East 237.5 varas to a point in the boundary of said Corporate Limits.
THENCE South 950 varas on the line of said Corporate Limits to the South line
of said Survey No. 7.
THEVCE West on said South line of said Survey No. 7, the same being the boundary
line of the said Corporate limits of the City of Lubbock, Texas, to the point of
beginning.
The said described property being arable land and largely uninhabited, and used
for agricultural purposes and not being used for residence or business and being
on the boundaries of said Corporate limits, is hereby discontinued as a part of
the City of Lubbock, Texas.
Passed and approved this the 13th day of September, A.D. 1909.
