This location seeks to sell wine and beer for on -premise consumption for its customers. The specific TABC permit type is a BG. The store itself has been found to be within 300 feet of a daycare center and hereby requests a variance such that alcohol sales would be allowed and would show the City as follows: Chipotle Texas, L.L.C. ("Chipotle") seeks to operate this location as a typical Chipotle restaurant. Chipotle operates hundreds of locations which sell beer, wine, and mixed beverages to its customers in the State of Texas. In obtaining these permits, Chipotle has shown itself to be in compliance with municipal, county, and state laws regarding licensing, permitting, and the continued operation of its businesses. With the granting of this variance and certification of the Chipotle TABC application by the City of Lubbock for this location, Chipotle will continue to uphold its high standards and maintain compliance with all applicable licensing and permit provisions of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code, as well as all ordinances and rules of the City of Lubbock. Chipotle will be a socially responsible corporate citizen of Lubbock as it is with all the other communities it calls home. In seeking this variance, Chipotle is simply seeking to add an additional product to the wide variety it already offers to its customers. Furthermore, great care will be extended to ensure the proper and lawful sale of beer and wine should the variance be granted. The property is jointly owned by 77 MW, LLC and CH Milwaukee LTD with a mailing address of 2574 74th Street, Lubbock, TX 79423.
