Home My WebLink AboutResolution - 5370 - Accepts Paving Improvements - High Plains Pavers Inc - Streets, Parking Lot - 12_19_1996RESOLUTION NO. 5370 Item #10 December 19, 1996 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PAVING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF CITY STREETS AS DESCRIBED BELOW: WHEREAS, The City of Lubbock awarded a contract December 14, 1995, authorizing the construction of street maintenance improvements by High Plains Pavers, Inc., on City Streets and the City of Lubbock Employees Parking Lot, North side of 13th Street; and WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the City streets and parking lots have been inspected and found to have been constructed according to the approved plans and specifications; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the improvements on said portions to the City streets indicated on the attached list BE and the same are hereby accepted and the City Street Superintendent BE and he is hereby authorized to direct final payment to the Contractor in the amount of $31,900.63. SECTION 2. THAT this Resolution shall take effect in force from and after its passage.
