HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 5176 - Grant Amendment - FOEA - Federal Assistance, LRRC - 05_09_1996RESOLUTION NO.5176 May 9, 1996 Item #16 RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the City Manager of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Grant Amendment from the Federal Office of Economic Adjustment and all related documents for documents for Federal Assistance for the Lubbock/Reese Redevelopment Committee, which proposed amendment is attached hereto, which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. This amendment provides Community Planning Assistance Funds for Reese Air Force Base reuse planning as described in the amendment request dated, April 29, 1996. If the provisions of the enclosed grant amendment are acceptable, please sign both originals. Return one for our records and retain one for your file. This amended grant has been assigned the Federal Identifier Number CL9511-95-01-96-01. Please use this number on all correspondence. We look forward to working with you. O'Connor Acting Director Office of Economic Adjustment a Grant Amendment for Reese Air Force Base CL9511-95-01-96-01 This amendment modifies grant number CL9511-95-01 between the City of Lubbock, the Grantee, and the Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA), Grantor, on behalf of the Department of Defense in the following manner: 1. Grant No. CL9511-95-01 is changed to CL9511-95-01-96-01. 2. The Federal funds are increased by $320,718, from $131,250 to $451,968, as indicated on the revised SF 424A. 3. The non -Federal funds are increased by $106,906, from $43,750 to $150,656. 4. The total project costs are increased by $427,624, from $175,000 to $602,624. 5. The grant term is extended by five months, from July 31, 1996 to December 31, 1996. 6. This extension revises the reporting due dates for reports as follows: (a) quarterly performance reports are due August 31, and November 30, 1996. (b) The final performance report is due within 90 days after the end date (no later than March 31, 1997) of the grant. This report should cover grant activities for November 1, 1996 through December 31, 1996 and should also contain a summary of the grantee's progress for the total grant period. (c) The final Financial. Status Report (269A) is also due March 31, 1997. 7. We are incorporating additional scope of work items as requested in your letter dated April 28, 1996.
