HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 4745 - Authorizes Budget Changes - CM - Municipal Purposes - 02_09_1995Resolution No. 4745 February 9, 1995 Item #38 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Section 102.010 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas authorizes City Councils to make changes in budgets for municipal purposes; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the City Budget Ordinance, the City Manager is authorized to make transfers between funds, accounts, departments or programs for City purposes; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it advisable to change the budget for municipal purposes and reallocate funds as follows; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the City Manager of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to make changes to the City of Lubbock Budget for municipal purposes as follows: $2,358,560 shall be transferred from the Undesignated/Unreserved Fund Balance in the General Fund into the following funds: $132,000 into the General Permanent Capital Maintenance Fund Balance to fund the City's share of the Citibus fleet replacement; $151,560 into the General Capital Projects Fund Balance for police equipment; $50,000 into the 5th and J Tank Testing capital project in the Internal Service Capital Projects Funds; $500,000 into the Underground Storage Tank Testing Remediation capital project in the Internal Service Permanent Capital Projects Fund; $800,000 into the Permanent Street Maintenance Fund Balance for additional street seal coating; $150,000 into the Parks Capital Projects Fund to be used for improvements to irrigation systems, playgrounds, equipment, etc.; and $575,000 into the General Permanent Capital Maintenance Fund to enhance maintenance of our current facilities. SECTION 2. THAT a copy of the changes made to the City of Lubbock Budget pursuant to this Resolution shall be filed with the City Secretary and County Clerk of Lubbock County as required by law.
