While these chairs are only 5 years old, there have been 2 cylinder failures in the last 10 months. I have been able to replace these parts, but I am concerned about widespread failures within the next year. Also, these screens will provide a consistent setup across the center, with users no longer needing different profiles when logging in. The hope for the keyboards is to provide more durable tools for the dispatchers. How does this project relate to the receipt, tracking, recording, and documentation of 9-1-1 calls? Dispatchers use the chairs 24 hours a day and the screens provide updated technology to reduce glare.
