HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 3802 - Accet Paing Improvements - Williams & Peters Inc - Lot 2, Farrar Park Addition - 02_13_1992Resolution No. 3802 February 13, 1992 Item #14 JWF:js RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREET AND AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of Chap- ter 25 of the City of Lubbock Code of Ordinances, the subdivider of Farrar Park, Lot 2 made arrangements with Williams & Peters Construction Company, Inc. for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of the above -mentioned Addition including the following street: Street stub removal and disposal on West side of Chicago Avenue between 66th Street and Loop 289, known and designated as new Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 49 of Unit Number 2034. WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above - mentioned street was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 25 of the City of Lubbock Code of Ordinances; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the improvements on said portion of the above -mentioned street BE and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer BE and he is hereby authorized to return prepaid escrow money to the Developer in the amount of $2,500.00.
