BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Change Order
No. 1 to Bid No. 9860, Steel Transmission and Distribution Poles, by and
between the City of Lubbock and FL Meyer Industries, attached herewith,
which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the
minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as
if fully copied herein in detail.

CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 TO BID NO. 9860
STEEL TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION POLES
TO: FL Meyer Industries

Red Wing, Minnesota 55066
Gentlemen:
WHEREAS, it is desirable to make changes in the contract for this
project, being namely the following:
Expedited fabrication of 13 painted tubular steel
structures.
WHEREAS, the Contractor herein agrees to the following change:
Expend such overtime labor as required to reduce the
fabrication and delivery schedule of 13 tubular steel
structure to 24 weeks.
The contract amount will be increased $42,235 resulting in a
new contract amount of $334,298.00.
THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH: The Owner and the Contractor agree to
the change shown herein. The Contractor agrees to proceed with
expedited fabrication of the structures in accordance with the plans and
specifications. Furthermore, the parties agree that the original
contract between the Owner and the Contractor shall be modified to the
extent herein indicated.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Owner and the Contractor have hereto set
