ITEM IV.I
Consider five year lease renewal for U.S. Customs Service at the Airport.
The U.S. Customs Service has leased 648 square feet of space in the
Executive Terminal at the Airport since July 1980.
We were required to provide this space including utilities at no cost to the
U.S. Government except for $1.00 per year rental. Custodial service and
replacement of light bulbs is provided by Lessee. This space needs to be
renewed on a one year basis with renewals of one year each not to exceed
five years.
We have requested and received a provision that would require Lessee to
provide any supplemental lighting, heating, or air conditioning should they
install special equipment and or modify the space.
The Airport Board has reviewed this and recommends to City Council.
