HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 2267 - Accept Paving Improvements - Kerr Construction - L1-46, Kings Row Addition - 03_13_1986Resolution#2267 March 13, 1986 Agenda Item #11 JCR:js RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Kings Row Addition, Lots 1 thru 46 made arrangements with Kerr Construction Company for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of the above -mentioned addition including the following streets: 85th Street from its intersection with the east lip line of Oxford Avenue to and including cul-de-sac east of Oxford Avenue and desig- nated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 30 of Unit Number 2032. 85th Street from Quaker Avenue to its intersection with a line 815 feet east of Quaker Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 31 of Unit Number 2032. 86th Street from Quaker Avenue to its intersection with the center line of Oxford Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 32 of Unit Number 2032. Orlando Avenue from 84th Street to 620 feet south of 84th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 33 of Unit Number 2032. Oxford Avenue from 84th Street to 880 feet south of 84th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 34 of Unit Number 2032. Oxford Avenue from 86th Street to alley north of 87th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 35 of Unit Number 2032. 96th Street from alley west of Orlando Avenue to Quaker Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 36 of Unit Number 2032; and WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above - mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THAT the improvements on said portions of the above - mentioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City. Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to notify the Developer of acceptance by the Lubbock City Council. SECTION 2. THAT this resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. Passed by the City Council this 13th day of March _, 1986.
