RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF A STREET AS LISTED
BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirements provisions of City
Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Sewell Addition, Lots 1-10 made arrangements
with Kerr Construction Company for the construction of paving improvements on
a certain street dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said
Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of the above mentioned
addition including the following street:
17th Street from its intersection with the west property line of West
Loop 289 thence westward to Cul-de-sac west of Loop 289 known and
designated as New Subdivision Sub=Unit Number 17 of Unit Number 2032.
Alley paving from its intersection with the east property line of Iola
Avenue thence eastward approximately 540 feet then north to 17th Street
and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 41 of Unit Number 2032.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of. the.above improvements on.the above..
mentioned street .was 'performed under, the supervision of the City Erigirieer, and
said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to
have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in, accordance
with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the above mentioned street be
and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to notify the Developer of acceptance by the Lubbock City Council.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
