HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 1736 - Accept Paving Improvements- Kerr Construction- Lots 20A-28A, Winniewood Addition - 06_28_1984RESOLUTION 1736 - 6/28/84 RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Winniewood Addition, Lots 20-A thru 28-A made arrangements with Kerr Construction Co. for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the sub- division plat of the abovementioned addition -including the following streets: S 1/2 80th St. from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Ave. "N" to its intersection with the west Lip Line of Ave. "L" known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 80 of Unit Number 2030. E 1/2 Ave. "N" from its intersection with the centerline of 80th St. to its intersection with a line 7.00' south of the south property line of the alley south of 80th St. known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 81 of Unit Number 2030. W 1/2 Ave. "L" from its intersection with the South Lip Line of 80th St. to its intersection with a line 7.00' south of the south property line of the alley south of 80th St. known and designated as New Sub- division Sub -Unit Number 82 of Unit Number 2030. E 1/2 Ave. "L" from its intersection with the South Lip Line of 80th St. to its intersection with a line 7.00' south of the south property line of the alley south of 80th St. known and designated as New Sub- division Sub -Unit Number 96 of Unit Number 2030. S 1/2 80th Street from its intersection with the West Lip Line of Ave. "L" to its intersection with the center line of Ave. "J" known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 97 of Unit Number 2030. W 1/2 Ave. "J" from its intersection with the South Lip Line of 80th St. to its intersection with a line 7.00' south of the south property line of the alley south of 80th St. known and designated as New Sub- division Sub -Unit Number 98 of Unit Number 2030. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above - mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to notify the developer of acceptance by the Lubbock City Council. II.
