HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 1689 - Accept Paving Improvements - Kerr Co - Lots 222-231, Whisperwood Addition - 05_24_1984RESOLUTION 1689 - 5/24/84 01 RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF A STREET AND AN ALLEY AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Whisperwood Addition Lots 222-231 made arrangements with Kerr Construction Co. for the construction of paving improvements on a street and an alley dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Whisperwood Addition Lots 222-231 including the follow ing paving units: Amherst street from its intersection with the north lip line of Whisperwood Boulevard to its intersection with a line 7.00 feet north east of the northeast property line of the alley northeast of Whisperwood Blvd. known and designated as New Subdivision Sub- Unilt Number 42 of Unit Number.2030. North -south alley east of Whisperwood Blvd. from the Southeast property line of Loop 289 access road to the northwest property line of Amherst Street known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 95 of Unit Number A-460. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the abovementioned paving units was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned paving units be and the same are hereby accepted. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
