HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 1477A - Contract - AIC - Sewer Main Clutural Resource Survey, Mackenzie State Park - 09_08_1983RESOLUTION 1477 - 9/8/83 ,9.1i sv j SMH:js 4.9od-111n e% k J BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock two Contracts with Anthropological Investigative Consultants of Lubbock, Texas to conduct a cultural resource survey for the Sanitary Sewer Main which passes through MacKenzie State Park and for the South Road Extension of Canyon Lake No. 6, attached herewith, which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council.shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. Horton, Assistant City Attorney day of September 1983. 4 - ' CONTRACT STATE OF TEXAS § COUNTY OF LUBBOCK § RESOLUTION 1477-A - 9/8/83 THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this September FAS,. RFFr 8th day of , 1983 by and between the City of Lubbock, acting by and through Alan Henry, Mayor, thereunto authorized to do so, hereinafter referred to as City and Anthropological Investigative Consultants of Lubbock, Texas and hereinafter referred to as A.I.C., do hereby agree as follows: A.I.C. agrees to conduct a cultural resource survey for the Sanitary Sewer Main which passes through MacKenzie State Park in accordance with the proposal submitted by A.I.C. which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. A.I.C. agrees that all work will be done in accordance with the guidelines for the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, the Texas Antiquities Law, and all other applicable federal and state laws and regula- tions. A.I.C. agrees to furnish all materials, supplies, labor and other accessories and services to complete the survey. A.I.C. agrees to notify the City of Lubbock immediately of any significant findings or findings of public interest. The survey and testing shall be completed by October 1, 1983. The prelim- inary report including field and laboratory finds and further recommendations will be submitted to the City by November 1, 1983. The final report will be submitted to the City on or before January 1, 1984. The City of Lubbock agrees to pay A.I.C. in accordance with the rates on the attached fee schedule made a part hereof and a total amount not to exceed EIGHT THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND NINETY DOLLARS ($8,990.00) without written approval of the City. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties to these presents have executed this Agreement in the year and day first above written.
