HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 1314 - CO#1 To Contract - WMS Co - Equipment, Signal System Project - 02_10_1983/ 6 SMH:da RESOLUTION 1314 - 2/10/83 (See Reso. 1279 - 12/9/83) RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Change Order No..1 for the Lubbock Signal System by and between the City of Lubbock and Winko-Matic Signal Company for the Computer, Peripheral Equipment and Com- munications attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. Horton, Assistant City Attorney .�._ r TO: Winko-Matic Signal Company 659 Miller Road Avon Lake, Ohio 44012 Gentlemen: RESOLUTION 1314 - 2/10/83 (See Reso. 1279 - 12/9/83) -CITY 3 (-, 'ETARY-TREASURER Change Order #1 Work Order Number: 79-0001-40003-011668 (Computer Contract) WHEREAS, it is desirable to make changes in the plans and specifications for W. 0. 79-0001-40003-011668, being namely revisions to the design and capabilities of operator's console and the communications equipment as described more fully below. The operator's console shall be designed and constructed in accordance with Attachment A and Winko-Matic Drawing Numbers D-4027-1 and D-4027-2 (attached) to provide expanded system control functions. The unit price for Bid Item 24 is hereby increased by $10,000.00 to a total of $12,700.00. The communications equipment shall enable the C/I units to recognize and store a backup timing plan and to execute the backup timing plan when appropriate. The design of this feature shall conform to attached KHC SYSTEMS, INCORPORATED drawing 9003.01-10 (sheet 30 of 126) bearing latest revision date January 20, 1983 and to the attached January 19, 1983 memorandum, except that it is understood that the communications bit configurations for the various commands will be determined during the submittal process and that the specific design is subject to the submittal process and the engineer's review. No change in the contract price is made for this change; however, Intermediate Completion Time #A1 is hereby changed to 96 calendar days after the date of availability and Intermediate Completion Time #A2 is hereby changed to 136 calendar days after the date of availability. The Final Completion Time and the other Intermediate Completion Times shall be the same as set forth in Article 1.5 of the original contract specifications. Summary: Original Amount of Computer Contract for W. 0. 79-0001-40003-011668 $598,441.93 Increased by Change Order #1 10,000.00 Total Amount of Contract $608,441.93 THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH: In consideration of the mutual advantages gained, the Owner and the Contractor agree to the change shown herein and in the revised plans, the Owner agrees to pay the Contractor the amount of increase in cash. The Contractor agrees to proceed with construction and to adhere to applicable specifications, under the direction of the Engineer.
