HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 1305 - Authorize Negotionations - Underground Utility Easement - Sec 1 Block S - 01_27_1983RESOLUTION 1305 - 1/27/83 SPN JWF/mck RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Right of Way Department of the City of Lubbock is hereby author- ized and directed to commence negotiations for the purchase of an underground utility easement for public purposes at a purchase price to be determined by appraisal to be located in, upon, along, over, under and across the following described tract of land: A tract of land in the Southeast quarter of Section 1, Block S, Lubbock County, Texas, containing 0.0337 acre of land and more particularly de- scribed as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the Southwest corner of Yellowhouse Canyon Additi which is on the West R.O.W. line of Peach Avenue from where the Southeast corner of Section 1 bears South 89018' West, 841.0 feet and North 0'40' West, 433.33 feet for the Southeast corner of this tract; THENCE South 89018' West, 146.6 feet to a corner point which is common with the Southeast corner of a 30 foot wide underground utility easement recorded in Volume 962, Page 697, Lubbock County Deed Records, Lubbock, Texas, to a point for the Southwest corner of this tract; THENCE North 0040' West, 10.00 feet along the East line of said easement to a point for the Northwest corner of this tract; THENCE North 89°18' East 146.6 feet to a point on the West R.O.W. line on Peach Avenue for the Northeast corner of this tract; THENCE South 0040' East, 10.00 feet along said R.O.W. line to the point of Beginning, containing 1,466 square feet which is approximately 0.0337 acres. Said easement is needed for such public purposes in connection with a Community Development Project. Passed by the City Council this 27th ay of January 1983.
