HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 791 - Accept Paving Improvements - WD Turner - Tracts B & B1, LCCE - 04_23_1981RESOLUTION #791 - 4/23/81 �g RESOLUTION OR - RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OR PORTIONS OF A STREET OR STREET AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Lakeridge Country Club Estates, Tracts "B" and "B-1" made arrangements with W. D. Turner Construction Company for the construction of paving improvements on certain street or streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plats of Lakeridge Country Club Estates, Tracts "B" and "B-1" including the following street or streets: Vicksburg Avenue from its intersection with the Alley S. of 89th Street to its intersection with the South Property Line of Tract "B" Lakeridge Country Club Estates known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 85 of Unit Number 2025. Vicksburg Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of Tract "B" Lakeridge Country Club Estates to its intersection with the South Property Line of Tract "B-l" Lakeridge Country Club Estates and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 38 of Unit Number 2026. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the abovementioned street or streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned street or streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release escrow money. II. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
