01 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND AVENUES AS
LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock accepted Bid No. 4549 on February 23, 1978,
for C.D.W.O. 7720 and entered into contract with Kerr Construction Company
for the making and construction of street and alley improvements on portions
of streets and alleys in said City including among others the following:
Hazelwood Avenue and alley paving from its intersection with the North Property
Line of E. 2nd Place to its intersection with the North Raw Edge of Idalou Rd.
known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 13 of Unit Number 2230.
Vandelia Drive from its intersection with the existing stub at 61st Street to its
intersection with the existing stub at 64th Street known and designated as Sub -
Unit Number 6 of Unit Number 2231.
Erskine Street from its intersection with a line 5.00 ft. East of the East Proper-
ty Line of Canton Avenue to its intersection with the West Lip Line of Clovis
Road known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 6 of Unit Number 2232.
Marshall Street from its intersection with the existing stub of Canyon Lakes Road
to its intersection with a line 8.00 ft. West of the West Property Line of N.
University Avenue known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 7 of Unit Number 2232.
Cypress Road from its intersection with a line 2.50 ft. South of the South Proper-
ty Line of the alley North of Xavier Street to its intersection with the North
Property Line of N. Loop 289 known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 8 of Unit
Number 2232.
LaSalle Avenue from its intersection with a line 18.00 ft. South of the South
Property Line of 20th Street to its intersection with the South Property Line of
22nd Street known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 9 of Unit Number 2232.
Ave. "V" from its intersection with the South Lip Line of 35th Street to its
intersection with the North Lip Line of 37th Street known and designated as
Sub -Unit Number 10 of Unit Number 2232.
46th Street from its intersection with a line 14.00 ft. East of the East Proper-
ty Line of Ave. "H" to its intersection with a line 10.00 ft. West of the West
Property Line of Ave. "D" known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 11 of Unit
Number 2232.
Ute Avenue from its intersection with the North Property Line of E. 6th Street
to its intersection with the South Property Line of E. 10th Streeet known and
designated as Sub -Unit 12 of Unit Number 2232.
E. 6th Street from its intersection with a line 5.00 ft. East of the East Proper-
ty Line of Ute Ave. to its intersection with the West Lip Line of Walnut Ave.
known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 13 of Unit Number 2232.
E. 8th Street from its intersection with the center line of Teak Avenue to
its intersection with a line 8.00 ft. West of the West Property Line of Vanda
Ave. known and designated as Sub -Unit 14 of Unit Number 2232.
E. 10th Street from its intersection with a line 8.00 ft. West of the West
Property Line of Ute Ave. to its intersection with a line 8.00 ft. West of
the West Property Line of Walnut Ave. known and designated as Sub -Unit Number
15 of Unit Number 2232.
Redbud Ave. and Spruce Ave. from their intersection with the South Lip Line of
E. 13th Street to their intersection with the North Lip Line of Idalou Road
known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 16 of Unit Number 2232.
E. 14th Street from its intersection with a line 12.00 ft. East of the East
Property Line of Quirt Ave. to its intersection with the West Raw Edge of
Vanda Ave. known and designated as Sub -Unit 17 of Unit Number 2232.
E. 16th Street from its intersection with a line 12.00 ft. East of the East
Property Line of Quirt Ave. to its intersection with the North Lip Line of
Idalou Road known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 18 of Unit Number 2232.
Canyon Drive from its intersection with the South Raw Edge of E. 19th Street
to its intersection with the Est Lip LIne of Quirt Ave. known and designated
as Sub -Unit Number 20 of Unit Number 2232.
Mae Simmons Park Parking Lot known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 21 of
Unit Number 2232.
Municipal Drive from its intersection with the East Raw Edge of N. Ash Ave.
to its intersection with the West Raw Edge of N. Quirt Ave. known and designated
as Sub -Unit Number 36 of Unit Number 2233.
Quirt Avenue from its intersection with a line 9.00 ft. North of the South
Property Line of E. 19th St. to its intersection with the North Lip Line of
E. 24th Street known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 25 of Unit Number 2234.
6th Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Ave. "R" to its
intersection with the West Lip Line of Ave. "Q" known and designated as Sub -
Unit Number 26 of Unit Number 2234.
AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the abovementioned
streets have been inspected and found to have been constructed according to the
approved plans and specifications,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be,
and the same are hereby accepted.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force after its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 22ND DAY OF MAY, 1980.
