HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 140 - Accept Paving Improvements - WD Turner Co - The Meadows Addition - 04_26_1979._P': t" RESO #140 - 4/26/69 1 RESOLUTION 'U RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of The Meadows Addition, Lots 797-948, 949-956 and Tract B, made arrangements with W.D. Turner Construction Company for the con- struction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of The Meadows Addition, Lots 797-948, 949-956 and Tract B including the following streets: S. 1/2 of 82nd Street from its intersection with the centerline of Chicago Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Albany Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 93 of Unit Number 2024. 83rd Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Chicago Avenue to its intersection with the West Lip Line of Albany Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 94 of Unit Number 2024. 84th Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Chicago Avenue to its intersection with the West Raw Edge of Slide Road known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Numbers 95 and 95 (A) of Unit Number 2024. N. 1/2 of 85th Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Chicago Avenue to its intersection with the West Raw Edge of Slide Road known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 96 of Unit Number 2024. E. 1/2 of Chicago Avenue from its intersection with the South Raw Edge of 82nd Street to its intersection with the centerline of 85th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 97 of Unit Number 2024. Brentwood Avenue from its intersection with the South Lip Line of 82nd Street to its intersection with the North Lip Line of 83rd Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 98 of Unit Number 2024. Belmont Avenue from its intersection with the South Raw Edge of 82nd Street to its intersection with the North Lip Line of 83rd Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 99 of Unit Number 2024. Bangor Avenue from its intersection with the South Lip Line of 82nd Street to its intersection with the North Lip Line of 83rd Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 00 of Unit Number 2025. Albany Avenue from its intersection with the South Raw Edge of 82nd Street to its intersection with the North Lip Line of 84th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 01 of Unit Number 2025. Albany Avenue from its intersection with the South Lip Line of 84th Street to its intersection with the North Lip Line of 85th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 02 of Unit Number 2025. S. 1/2 of 82nd Street from its intersection with a line 16.00' East of the East Property Line of Albany Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Aberdeen Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 57 of Unit Number 2025. W. 1/2 of Aberdeen Avenue from its intersection with the South Raw Edge of 82nd Street to its intersection with the North Lip Line of 84th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 58 of Unit Number 2025. E. 1/2 of Aberdeen Avenue from its intersection with the North Lip Line of 84th Street to its intersection with a line 7.00' North of the North Property Line of the alley North of 84th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 58 (A) of Unit Number 2025. Drainage structure adjacent to Albany Avenue and 84th Street at the Southwest corner of Tract "B", The Meadows Addition known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 59 of Unit Number 2025. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the abovementioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improve- ments have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been construct- ed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release escrow money. II. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
