HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 120 - Accept Paving Improvements - CCC - Lots 95-198, Meadowgreen Addition - 04_12_1979/-; RESO # 120 4/ 12/ RESOLUTION S RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Meadowgreen Addition, Lots 95-198, made arrangements with Commercial Concrete Construction for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Meadowgreen Addition, Lots 95-198 including the following streets: 13th Street from its intersection with the.East Lip Line of Iola Avenue to its intersection with the West Lip Line of Genoa Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 97 of Unit Number 2022. 13th Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Genoa Avenue to its intersection with the West Property Line of Loop 289 Access Road (at cul-de-sac) known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 98 of Unit Number 2022. 14th Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Genoa Avenue to its intersection with the West Lip Line of Loop 289 Access Road known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 99 of Unit Number 2022. 14th Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Iola Avenue to its intersection with the West Lip Line of Genoa Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 00 of Unit Number 2023. E. 1/2 of Iola Avenue from its intersection with a line 7.00' North of the North Property Line of the alley South of 14th Street to its intersection with a line 7.00' North of the North Property Line of the alley North of 13th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 01 of Unit Number 2023. Hyden Avenue from its intersection with the North Lip Line of 13th Street to its intersection with a line 7.00' North of the North Property Line of the alley North of 13tb.. Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 02 of Unit Number 2023. Huron Avenue from its intersection with the North Lip Line of 13th Street to its intersection with a line 7.00' North of the North Property Line of the alley North of 13th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 03 of Unit Number 2023. Homestead Avenue from its intersection with the South Lip Line ,of 14th Street to its intersection with a line 7.00' North of the North Property Line of the alley South of 14th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 04 of Unit Number 2023. Homestead Avenue from its intersection with the North Lip Line of 14th Street to its intersection with the South Lip Line of 13th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 05 of Unit Number 2023. Homestead Avenue from its intersection with the North Lip Line of 13th Street to its intersection with aline 17.43' North of the North Property Line of the alley North of 13th Street (W. Side) known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 06 of Unit Number 2023. Grover Avenue from its intersection with the North Lip Line of 13th Street to its intersection with a line 7.00' North of the North Property Line of the alley North of 13th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 07 of Unit Number 2023. Genoa Avenue from its intersection with a line 7.00' North of the North Property Line of the alley South of 14th Street to its intersection with a line 7.00' North of the North Property Line of the alley North of 13th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 08 of Unit Number 2023. Alley returns along Loop 289 Access Road and Curb and Gutter removal known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 09 of Unit Number 2023. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above - mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release escrow money. II. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 12TH DAY OF APRIL, 1979.
