RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to execute for
and on behalf of the City of Lubbock, Purchase Order No. 31045684 for the purchase of three (3)
Police Sports Utility Vehicles as per ITB 19-14725-RR, by and between the City of Lubbock and
Jim Bass Ford, Inc., of San Angelo, Texas, and related documents. Said Purchase Order is
attached hereto and incorporated in this resolution as if fully set forth herein and shall be
included in the minutes of the City Council.

PAYMENT TERMS AND DISCOUNTS - Bidder offers a prompt payment discount of _%, net calendar days.

SUMMARY/RECOMMENDATION:
After reviewing the bid submittal, Fleet Services recommends award to lowest bidder who met
all specifications: Jim Bass Ford of San Angelo, TX to furnish 3 SSV Sports Utility Vehicles for
Investigations (5731). The cost for these are $31,417 X 3 for a total of $94,251. Days for delivery
are 150-165 ARO.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The amount of $91,251 is allocated in Project Number 3114.8507.09673 Risk Account for Total
Loss Vehicles, with $91,251 available for this purchase of line item 1 only. The amount of
$1,000 x 3 for a total of $3,000 is available in 5731.8202 for the deductible.
