BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:

Brief Scope: New Goedeke Library Renovation (B&N)

The following items detail the scope of work as discussed at the site. All requirements necessary to accomplish the
items set forth below shall be considered part of this scope of work.
1. This proposal does not include the replacement of any ceiling tile.
2. This proposal includes only the touch up of the Children's Entrance area where there is an existing green color.
Color will need to be selected prior to start date in order to not cause a delay.
3. Existing wood flooring at Children's Entrance will be refinished.
4. The existing book drop loacted at the "Old" Godeke Library location ill be removed and reinstalled at the "New"
Godeke Library location.
5. All wood refinishing not specifically listed in this proposal is not included and can be listed on a separate proposal.
6. Re -Finishing of existing 50' front counter top include the top and front only to include sanding, striping, buffing, and
clear coat. Due to time constraints, repair work to the backside of the counter has not been included at this time but can
be provided on a separate proposal.
7. All existing ceramic tile to remain. No repairs to ceramic tile have been included in this proposal.
8. No work has been included in this proposal for the existing restrooms.
9. All frames will be removed from the walls and disposed of at a propoer disposal facility..
10. All existing furniture and bookshelves will be relocated per the layout plan provided by the City of Lubbock.
11. This proposal is based on all wall shelving units to remain and that all existing wall finishes to remain behind
bookshelves.
12. This proposal includes repainting door frames.
13. This proposal does not include work in the Coffee Bar Area,
14. This proposal does not include any work in the Storeroom area.
15. This proposal is for removing all wallpaper seams, floating all seams above the bookshelves, sealing with Gardz
Sealant, texturing and painting walls through out. All sealed wallpaper will be warrantied for bubbling.
16. No furnishings are included in this proposal.
17. No allowances for ADA compliance have been included in this proposal.
