BE 1T RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the City Council of the City of Lubbock hereby authorizes and directs the
Mayor of the City of Lubbock to execute a Change Order No. 1 to Contract #06-730-BM
entered into by and between the City of Lubbock and Utility Contractors of America,
LTD, for Marsha Sharp Freeway utility relocation, which Change Order No. 1 and any
associated documents, are attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution for all
intents and purposes.
Passed by the City Council this 22od day of February , 2007.

Utkllty Contractors of Arnerica, Ltd. will provide all Tapping and Hydrs-Stopping Equipment (including temporary valves)
necessary to perform HydraStop(e).

Maximum flow rates for a single stop shall not exceed 1 foot per second and Ibr a double atop shall not exceed 3
feet per second equivalent liquid velocity.
D. For Conasta Pipe Only During the phase of the saddle installation when the urines am cart, the topples are
metaled, the gland oiled, the pressure test Is p6lormed and ttte pilot hole is placed by the topping machine irrio the
pipe system, the pressure MUST NOT EXCEED 80% OF THE MINIMUM YIELD STRENGTH OF THE
UNSUPPORTED CYLINDER, IT WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK TO ENSURE
THESE LINE PRESSURES ARE NOT EXCEEDED
