RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the City Council hereby accepts on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Street
and Public Use Dedication Deed, as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference, located in Section 11, Block JS, Lubbock, Lubbock
County, Texas, for the Northwest Water Reclamation Project, and related documents.
Said Deed is attached hereto and incorporated in this resolution as if fully set forth herein
and shall be included in the minutes of the City Council.
THAT the consideration for the Street and Public Use Dedication Deed shall be
$7,670.45 and that closing costs shall also be paid in connection with the purchase of the
property, said payments approved herein.

THAT JAMES ELLIOTT TAYLOR, JR., being one and the same person as JAMES
ELLIOTT TAYLOR and wife, KAREN L. TAYLOR, herein called "Grantor', whether one or
more, for and in consideration of the sum of TEN AND NO/100 ($10.00) DOLLARS and other
good and valuable consideration, to it in hand paid by the CITY OF LUBBOM TEXAS, a
Home Rule Municipal Corporation, does hereby dedicate to the public for public use forever and

being a portion of a 7.69 acre tract described in Volume 4991, Page 347. Real Property Records, Lubbock County, Texas.
being further described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the East line of said 7.69 acre tract, whence a 3/4" iron pipe found bears S. 01 °47'33" W. a
distance of 0.58 feet, and at the Northwest comer of a 9.961 acre tract described in Volume 2334, Page 342, Real Property
Records, Lubbock County, Texas, and in the South line of a 89.15 acre tract described in Volume 9157, Page 59, Official
