Home My WebLink AboutResolution - 2004-R0244 - Contract To Provide Aid In Disasters - South Plains Association Of Governments - 05/25/2004Resolution No. 2004-RO244 May 25, 2004 Item No. 35 RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Change Order No. 1 to a Contract (Bid No. 224-03/RS) with Pharr and Company to cover the expenses incurred for additional quantities of work due to (1) changing from pneumatic to electronic controls on HVAC equipment for more efficient and better control of the equipment; (2) adding security and hardware features to 16 doors which allows better control and interaction with existing control system; (3) unexpected conditions found after main slab was demolished; and (4) upgrading facility from BSL-3 to BSL-3+. A copy of said Change Order No. 1 is attached hereto and incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth herein and shall be included in the minutes of the Council. Where the Change Order is negotiated, the Change Order must be fully documented and itemized as to costs, including material quantities, material costs, taxes, insurance, employee benefits, other related costs, profit and overhead.
