HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 2013-R0207 - Grant Petition For Annexation - 07_11_2013Resolution No. 2013-RO207 July 11, 2013 Item No. 6.1 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the owners of 79.909 acres of real property further described in Exhibit A attached hereto located in Section 21, Block E-2, Lubbock County, Texas have filed a petition requesting annexation of said property with the City of Lubbock on the 131h day of June, 2013; and WHEREAS, the City Council has heard arguments for and against the requested annexation at a meeting conducted on the 11 `h day of July, 2013; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lubbock deems it to be in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Lubbock to grant said Petition for Annexation; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT, pursuant to Section 43.028 of the Local Government Code, the City of Lubbock hereby grants the Petition for Annexation attached hereto as Exhibit A, which is incorporated herein and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes.
