RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the City Council of Lubbock hereby authorizes and directs John Wilson,
Citibus General Manager, to electronically execute for and on behalf of the City of
Lubbock a Federal Transit Administration Job Access and Reverse Commute Program
Grant (Project #TX-37-X030-00) and any associated documents by and between the City
of Lubbock and Federal Transit Administration, a copy of which Grant is attached hereto
and which shall be spread upon the minutes of this Council and as spread upon the
minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part hereof as if fully copied herein in
detail.

The FTA share in the amount of $227,854 is for operating assistance.
The Federal Transit Administration's (FTA) projected timetable for acting upon the subject
grant is 60 days from the transmission date of this grant application. In order to meet that
timetable, the Department of Labor certification is requested no later than two weeks prior
to that date. Please establish a time schedule for negotiations pursuant to 29 CFR 215.3
(d). Please advise us of the 49 USC Section 5333(b) terms and conditions for inclusion in
the grant contract.
