Project Details
City of Lubbock/Citibus was awarded $875,000 from the FY 2012 5309 State of Good Repair discretionary grant
opportunity. The funds will be used for the rehabilitation of its administrative and maintenance facilities that were
originally constructed in 1932. More specifically, the funds will be used for the replacement of HVAC systems,
plumbing, carpet, garage doors, roof repairs, purchase of security cameras, fuel tanks, four sets of bus Ifis to
replace the need for pits and update shop lighting. TxDOT awarded City of Lubbock/Citibus 175,000 TDC's in
Minute Order 113236 to be used as match.
