RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Resolution No. 2002-RO155, the City Council of the
City of Lubbock is required to establish the salary for the Presiding Judge of the
Municipal Court of Record prior to commencement of the term of office of said
Municipal Judge; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
1) THAT the salary for the position of Presiding Judge, Lubbock Municipal Court
of Record, shall be $ 98.121. 92 per annum;
2) THAT said initial salary shall be reviewed and may be adjusted by the City
Council annually as part of the City budget process and Section 2 of Resolution No.
2002-RO155 is hereby superseded to the extent of any conflict with this Resolution;
2) THAT in accordance with Sec. 30.0006(h), Government Code, the salary of the.
Presiding Judge of the Municipal Court of Record shall not be lowered during the
Presiding Judge's term of office; and
5) THAT upon passage of this Resolution, the City Manager or his designee shall
make such changes to the municipal budget as shall be necessary to implement this
Resolution.
